Overview
LifeStyle Aviation is proud to present N175DA, a 2011 Diamond DA40 XLS offered on brokerage. With a fresh major engine overhaul and a factory new propeller both just 125 hours ago, this aircraft gives you the two most expensive components on the airplane already handled, and thousands of hours of flying ahead of you.
The Lycoming IO-360-M1A was fully overhauled by Triad Aviation and reinstalled on new Lord mounts, leaving nearly the entire 2,000 hour TBO in front of the next owner. Compressions at the most recent annual came back at 78 over 80 across all four cylinders. A factory new Hartzell composite propeller was installed at the same inspection.
The panel is a fully optioned Garmin G1000 with the GFC 700 two axis autopilot and flight director, WAAS enabled dual GPS for fully coupled ILS and LPV approaches with coupled VNAV, Synthetic Vision Technology, TAWS-B terrain, SafeTaxi and FliteCharts, GDL 69A satellite weather with NEXRAD and XM audio, and a GTX 345 transponder delivering ADS-B In and Out with traffic and weather to the displays. The TAWS-B and Synthetic Vision combination is not found on every DA40, and it makes this one a genuinely capable IFR platform.
This airplane was ordered with the performance options that matter. Extended range 50 gallon fuel tanks open up real cross country legs, and the Power Flow tuned exhaust, performance landing gear fairing kit, and enlarged bubble canopy round out a well specified airframe. Inside are premium curry leather seats with new wool covers on the front, finished outside in white with red and gold accents.
With 1,552 hours total time, complete logs from the delivery flight forward, a current annual, pitot static and transponder certifications good through May 2028, and the DA40 nose landing gear AD confirmed not applicable to this aircraft, N175DA is a clean, well documented example ready to fly.
Available now at Florence Regional Airport (KFLO) in South Carolina. For the pilot who wants Diamond safety, Garmin capability, and a fresh engine and propeller without waiting on a factory order, this is one of the strongest DA40 opportunities in the market today.
